Facebook Domain Verification

What is Facebook domain verification?

Domain verification in Facebook’s Business Manager allows you the ability to be able to claim certain ownership of your website and domain. Once you have verified your ownership of your domains, you are able to connect your domain to any of your Facebook pages or Facebook assets.

By having your domain verified, this allows your Facebook Business Manager account to manage all forms of editing in content production including organic and paid. A page without permission, will not be able to make any changes to your ad.

Why is it important to have your Facebook domain verified?

Due to the new privacy changes, domain verification is an important step for all users to take as this allows Facebook to ask permission from Apple to track conversion events. By having your domain verified, this provides authority for your Business Manager account to construct and arrange the 8 conversion events for the domain.
